Welcome to The Mill House. We are the family behind the Manildra Group and are very proud to throw open the doors to our new ‘online kitchen’, an open, friendly and ever-evolving space to share recipes and stories from the farms and kitchens that are the backbone of what we do.
In 1952 the Honan family began milling flour in the Central Western NSW town of Manildra. We’ve since grown considerably and now buy over 1.2 million tonnes of wheat from Australian farmers and also value-add across regional Australia to sugar, canola, beef and lamb.

This blog tells our story and is a proud showcase of the high quality foods we grow and produce. It takes its name from the original Mill House, built over 100 years ago and still an integral part of our Manildra site – it’s been the home to Neville, retired Mill manager and his wife Dorothy for over 60 years.
